Obit from the Circleville Dem. Watchman (1-6-1893) "FOSNAUGH-Sarah Fosnaugh was born Jan 10, 1819, in Clear Creek Twp., Fairfield Co., Oh. and died in Circleville, Jan 1, 1893, aged 73 y 11 m 21d. She was the daughter of John and Rebecca Bumgartner, and in her twenty-second year was married to Eli J. Fosnaugh, who died four years ago. To them were born five children, one son-Henry W., of this city,-and four daughters. One of these, Mrs. Elsina Gheret, is dead. From an early day in her life she was religious, spending the greater part of her Christian life in the English Lutheran church, but five years ago she with her husband joined the United Brethren church, which relation she sustained with honor to herself and the church. The funeral was preached in the Union church at Stoutsville, Jan 3 by W. W. Rymer, interment in the cemetery at that church."
