Kerry Rolland Clark, age 59, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 after a long four year battle with cancer. He was born in Batesville, Arkansas, on February 4, 1947.

Mr. Clark was a building contractor. He had served in the Army National Guard and was a 32 Degree Mason and a member of Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church in

Mt. View, Arkansas. Mr. Clark enjoyed a variety of hobbies including woodworking, carving, and scrimshaw, cooking, hunting and the outdoors. He loved being with his five grandchildren. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Mae (Cooper) Clark, and one brother, Connie Clark.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara (Jesson) Clark of Heber Springs; two daughters and sons-in-law: Kristie and Gary Burford of Conway and Jennifer and Keith Helton of North Little Rock; his father and stepmother, Louie and Verl Clark of Heber Springs; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeannie and Frank McGary and Kathy and Sam Ward, all of Heber Springs; five grandchildren, Parker Burford, Mattie-Grace Burford, Elizabeth Kerry Burford, Sawyer James, and Baker Helton; and his nieces and nephews. Mr. Clark is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
