Bill passed away to Glory on Monday, February 7, 2022, at the age of 96.
He was born May 16, 1925, in Beaumont, Texas.
He served in the Navy from high school to the end of WW2. When he was discharged, he married Wilma Burnett in 1945 and received a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Houston in Geology. He spent his career in the petroleum business in Beaumont, Houston and Dallas.
They had five children of which are the following: Linda Boland and husband Paul of San Diego, California; David Patrick and wife Robin of Liberty Hill, Texas; Richard Patrick of Austin Texas; Kathleen Riordan and husband Bill of Bluffton, Texas; and Nancy Patrick of Bluffton, Texas.
Bill was a respected member of the community and a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Leander, Texas. He was blessed with a wonderful family and a large extended family who all expressed their joy at his wit and enthusiasm for living each day at a time.
We Love You Bill, and we express with pride that we could always say we were on your side, and you on ours. From this world we all must pass, but with love in "Him" our lives will last.
The graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 18,2022 at Bagdad Cemetery, 400 N. Bagdad, Leander, Texas 78641.
