Raymond Eugene Matthews, 79, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away
on Thursday , September 8, 2016 at Henderson Nursing and Rehabilitation.
He was born on July 25, 1937 in Caneyville, Kentucky to the late Effie and Alvin Matthews .
Raymond was formerly a self employed drywall contractor .
He enjoyed fishing and loved entertaining and to make the younger kids in his family laugh.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, William Ray Matthews, James Mural Matthews and Vernie Garland Matthews.
Survivors include his brothers, Randell Allen his wife , Donnia, Charles Lewis his wife, Linda, sister, Viola Ann, seven nephews, three nieces and a special niece, Debbie .
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2013 at McHenry Baptist Church in McHenry, Kentucky with Bro. Brent Howard
officiating .
