Sharon L. Hubbard, age 69, of Hull, Illinois, died Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at 10:22 pm in Blessing Hospital.
Sharon was born September 24, 1946 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Leo and Doris Harris Thompson. She married Howard Hubbard on October 6, 1965 in Sutter, Illinois. He survives.
Sharon was employed by Hannibal Wal-Mart for almost 30 years. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing in her free time. She also loved reading, completing puzzles, and gardening. Sharon was a great animal lover, and she had adopted many cats and dogs over the years Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them.
In addition to her husband, Sharon is survived by five children: Deanna (Kevin) Tracy of Brumley, MO; Andrew (Linda) Hubbard of Hull, IL; Karla Hubbard of Quincy; Gene (Nicole) Hubbard of Hannibal, MO; and Kayla (Josh) Still of Payson, IL; 13 grandchildren: Allanah and Deylaynah Roberts both of Eldon, MO; Beth Miller of Liberty, IL; Eric Tracy of Mt. Sterling, IL; Drake Tracy of Jacksonville, IL; Josh (Amber) McClure of Barry, IL; Jennifer and Shelbie Hubbard of Barry, IL; Jesse Hubbard of Quincy; Scarlett Hubbard of Hannibal, MO; and Erik, Chloe, and Grace Still of Payson, IL; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Connie Huston of Warsaw, IL, and Marjorie (William) Robinson of Beverly, IL; a brother, Clair Thompson of Hull, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Howard Wayne.
