Gregory C. Carr, 87, of 617 Pardee St., Easton, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, in ManorCare Health Services, Palmer Township. He was the husband of Helen M. (Covney) Carr.

He was a trainman for the Lehigh Valley Railroad in Bethlehem and Easton for 33 years until retiring in 1975.

Born in Swanton, Vt., he was a son of the late John and Mary (Sharpe) Carr.

He was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Easton.

Carr was also a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Easton.

Survivors: Wife; sons, John of Trexlertown, Richard of Bath and William of Easton; daughters Kathleen Hammerstone and Marianne Starke, both of Easton, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
