Gladys L. Baker-Lee, 105, of rural Carey, died at 9:25 pm Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky.
Born January 30, 1911 in rural Carey, she was the daughter of the late Lonna and Viola Mae (Tong) Pratt. She married Thoburn Baker on June 1, 1932 and he preceded her in death December 30, 1971. On August 25, 1976, she married Harold L. Lee and he preceded her in death on May 8, 1992.
Surviving are three children: Keith (Lynn Dee) Baker of Carey, Joyce (Paul) Miller of Upper Sandusky, and Vivian (James) Gery of Carey, two step-children: Jeannette (Donald) Riegle of Carey and Norman (Sandra) Lee of Melbourne, FL, 49 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and a brother, Ralph Pratt of Carey.
Preceding her in death were three children: Robert Baker, Claren Baker, and Janet Ladd.
A 1930 graduate of Wharton High School, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the former St. Paul United Methodist Church near Vanlue and a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Carey.
Friends will be received from 3 - 8 pm Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at STOMBUAGH-BATTON FUNERAL HOME in Carey.
The funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the funeral home, with Rev Cynthia Morrison officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Bloom Cemetery near Vanlue
