Funeral services for John W. Catron, 71, will be Friday at Couden Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
Mr. Catron died Tuesday at a nursing home here after a long illness. He had been a New Castle resident since 1940 and was employed in the maintenance department at Chrysler High School.
Survivors include three daughters, Maxelene Davis, Eva Sewell and Faye Catron; a son, James; a brother, Frank of New Castle; and several brothers and sisters residing in Kentucky
