Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Thompson, 84, of Westminster, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 8, 2022. Born at her home in Baltimore, on May 29, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Catherine A. (White) Gullivan Baum and stepdaughter of the late LeRoy E. Baum. She was the beloved wife of 29 years to the late Robert R. Thompson. Betty was a graduate of St. Ann's School of Business. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to caring for her family. She and her husband built their home in Westminster, primarily on evenings and weekends. Surviving are her children and spouses, Catherine Short (Jim) of Colorado Springs, CO, Patricia Isennock (Bob) of Titusville, FL, Karen Anderson (Charles) of Westminster and John Thompson (Debbie) of Hampstead; seven grandchildren and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, stepfather and husband, Betty was predeceased by her brother Charles F. Gullivan. The family will receive friends at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster on Wednesday, July 13th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm where a Christian Wake service will begin at 3pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster on Thursday July 14th at 1:00pm. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed.
