Mrs. Carroll was united in marriage on January 8, 1949, at Waynesville, to Harold Everett Carroll who preceded her in death on September 30, 2009. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin, on February 18, 1976; her mother, Allie, on December 30, 1968; three brothers, William Creamer on October 20, 1978, Marvin Creamer on March 15, 1985, and Rockford Creamer on March 25, 2009; nephew, P. Kent Creamer, on July 12, 1994; and niece, Linda Jo Creamer, on December 24, 2013.
Mrs. Carroll accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior and followed Him in baptism early in life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Dixon, and Ladies Auxiliary of the Liesmann-Roberts American Legion Post No. 298, Dixon. Mrs. Carroll loved to travel, playing cards and other games as well as crocheting, coloring, and old country music. She was always a faithful friend to anyone that knew her. Mrs. Carroll was an Administrative Secretary at Brown Shoe Company, Dixon, for many years, as well as being a devoted wife, homemaker, and housewife.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Carroll include: Nephews; Nieces; Great-Nephews; Great-Nieces; Great-Great Nephews and Nieces; and many other relatives and friends.
