Jennifer "Jenny" C. Ross, 59, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at Manor Care. She was born on June 3, 1957, to Vernon J and Marilyn M. (Thomas) Ross in Racine.

She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. Jenny worked in information technology at Abbott Lab for many years, retiring in 2015 from AbbVie Inc. Jenny's passion was devoting her life to saving/rescuing animals, especially kittens and cats. She specialized in the medical care, taking them home and nursing them to health. She also enjoyed spending as much time as her could on the golf course.

Jenny is survived by her mother Marilyn Ross of Kenosha, her siblings Jeff (Sue) Ross of Sun Prairie, Nancy (Art) Peters of Kenosha, Tom (Barb) Ross of Kenosha and Brenda (Chris) Zoerner of Kenosha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

A Celebration of Life for Jenny will be held on Sunday, Sept. 11, at 2 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a donation to Safe Harbor would be appreciated.
