Joe A. "Snow Cone Joe" Creel Jr., 73, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in North Amarillo Church of Christ with Haun Kite officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St.
Mr. Creel married Tommie Hart on March 17, 1956, in Clovis, N.M. She preceded him in death on Dec. 5, 2003. He served in the U.S. Air Force toward the end of the Korean conflict and the beginning of the Vietnam War. He was a member of North Amarillo Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Kelly Zinsmeyer of Lubbock and Edie Willingham of Amarillo; two sons, Mike Creel and Mitchell Creel, both of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
