Isaac was the 5th son and child born to Hugh and Ann Hayes Sidwell. He married Ann Brown on 10/2/1755 in what was Lancaster CO, PA at the Little Britain Friends Meetinghouse which was the closest Quaker meetinghouse to Cecil CO, MD. The marriage is actually registered in a list of Maryland marriages. His death is marked with the following comment in the Little Britain Quaker Monthly Meeting notes:
"Isaac Sidwell Father of the Children on the other side Departed this Life the 3rd day of the 11th month 1793 about the 4th hour in the afternoon In the 64th year of his Age.
