Mr. Dwight O. Mitchell, Sr age 68 of Wendell, departed this earthly life on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Transitions Hospice in Raleigh.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, January 15, 2016 at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Knightdale. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:00PM, prior to the funeral service.

Surviving: Children; Tonika Mitchell and Dwight Mitchell, Jr. (Teresa), three grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, Mother; Blanche Mitchell, Sisters; Julia Mordecai (Ted), Brenda Starkes (Howard), Wilhelmina Staggers (Joseph) and Jacqueline Mitchell, Brothers; Jimmy Mitchell (Juliett) and Michael Mitchell, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
