SHAMROCK — David Childress, 60, of Shamrock died Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock with Brother Joe G. Jernigan officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Mr. Childress was born June 30, 1956, in Shamrock to Pat and Margireeen Francis Childress. He was a kind man with a loving heart for everyone, especially his kids and grandkids.
Survivors include his mother, Margireen Childress of Shamarock; three sons, Heath Childress of White Deer, Cody Childress of Moscow, Kan., and Montana Childress of Lincoln, Neb.; a daughter, Shawne Childress of Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Loree Wright of Albuqueque, N.M.; and four grandchildren.
