He is survived by his wife for 72 years, Lillie Bell; his sister Beulah Daniels of Orland, CA; his son James Jr. of Yerington, NV; four daughters; Sheila, Kathyrn, Kristine and Susan. 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Volunteered at Senior Gleaners; enjoyed tinkering with automobiles; and always loved a good joke.
Services will be held at noon on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento.
