Arlene L. (Warner) Chapman, 92, passed away on September 6, 2016, at Rest Haven Nursing Home in York. She was the loving wife of the late Roger Chapman, who passed away in 1997.

Arlene was born in Codorus Twp. on January 2, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Edward and Minnie (Newcomer) Warner.

She worked as a laborer for DENTSPLY for many years before she retired. She was a member of St. Paul Ziegler Lutheran Church.

Arlene was survived by her niece, Phyllis Ness; and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Stewart Warner and Charles Warner; and her sisters, Florence Myers, Leona Warner, Marcella Warner, Eva Ruth, and Dorothy Warner.

A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, with Pastor Billow officiating. Following the service she will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Paul Ziegler Lutheran Church Cemetery, 4258 Ziegler's Church Road, Seven Valleys. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Paul Ziegler Lutheran Church, 4258 Ziegler's Church Road, Seven Valleys, PA 7360.
