Timothy Keith Bennett, age 56, of Manila, passed from this life Wednesday September 7, 2016 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born in Albany, Georgia, he was a 1978 graduate of Manila High School.

A former employee of American Greetings and Frito Lay, he had lived most of his life in Manila where he was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church. A fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals, he also loved barbecuing, the beach, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, R. J. Bennett, his paternal grandmother, Ruth Bennett, and maternal grandparents, Tommy and Anna Ramsey.

Survivors include;
1 son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Maribel Bennett of Manila

2 daughters; Misty Adams of Manila Brittany Guilliams, and her husband, Justin of Brookland

His mother, JoAnn Ramsey Bennett of Manila

6 grandchildren; Kelcie Adams, Madison Adams, Jackson Adams, Holden Adams, Kanon Adams, and Ryan Bennett.

1 brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Sonya Bennett of Manila

1 sister, Pam Townsend of Manila

He also leaves 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

Funeral service will be 11am Saturday September 10, 2016 at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Matt Pryor, Rev. James Chipman, and Allen Donner officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Keith Bennett, Scott Townsend, Jr. Dustin Bennett, Justin Guilliams, Jason Baltimore, and Brian Murphy.

Honorary pallbearers will include Rick Scoggins, William Oglesby, and Benni Don Bennett.
