Jan. 27, 1924-June 8, 2016
On June 8, 2016, at 6:30 a.m., after a long and laborious night, “Mother” Theresa Lewis, a longtime resident of Scappoose, went to be with our Lord.
We mourn because she is gone, but rejoice that she is in a place where she is no longer in pain.
All through the night she kept telling her family that she loved them and that she would ‘be better when I get well.’
She is finally well again. She was ready to join her family and loved ones for an eternity in heaven.
She will forever be loved and greatly missed...
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
- John 11:25-26
