Vinny was my best friend. We had gone through so much in our lifetime growing up together. When we first met during childhood, my family thought he was a thug with a leather jacket right out of "Happy Days". They later found out he was one of the best. He loved his bud beer and pall malls, which helped take him out of this world.
Vinny is survived by his wife Joann Panzini, also from East Boston. His three children, Robert, Michael, and Kim MacDonald.
