Walton Rites To Be Monday, The Times Republican, Marshalltown, IA 19 Apr 1980

Gladbrook - Service for Alfred James Walton, 67, who died at his home Thursday evening, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Peace United Church of Chist with the Rev. Leroy Franz officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens at Marshalltown.

Mr. Walton was born to Charles and Frances Raymon July 14, 1912 in Belle Plaine and attended schools there. He and Ellen Cory were married June 26, 1937 in Oskaloosa. They always lived in Tama County, the last 25 years in Gladbrook. He was a member of Peace Church.

Surviving are his wife, three sons and three daughters: James Walton, Dallas, Texas; Stanley, Gladbrook; Larry, Kalamazoo, Mich.; Karen Polson, Marshalltown; Phyllis (Mrs. Wendell Giesking, Reinbeck and Janice (Mrs. Charles) D-Addario, Poway, Calif. Also Surviving are 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters: Harold Walton of Toledo, Henry of Eureka Springs, Ark., Mrs. Emma Newman of St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Christina Williams of Cedar Rapids.
