Charles F. Fenstermacher, a partner in the Kutztown hardware firm of Fenstermacher & Son, died Saturday night in his home at 262 W. Main St., Kutztown. He was 79.

Born in Topton, he was a son of the late William F. and Elizabeth Reigelman Fenstermacher.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kutztown, and the Kutztown Fire Co.

Surviving are his wife, the former Carrie I. Eck; a son Thomas F., Kutztown; a brother Menno, Allentown; a sister, Mrs. Esther Siegfried, Allentown, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at the convenience of the family in the Fritz & Kendall Funeral Home, Kutztown, with viewing 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
