Winston Irvin Allison, 77, passed away Saturday, September 3,2016, at his home in Anson. Family visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Adams-Graham Funeral Home in Anson. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Friday, September 9, 2016, at Prairie View Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home.
Born December 6, 1938 in Roswell, NM, Winston was a son of Gerald and Lanora Ethel (Wells) Allison. He married Dianne Rainwater April 14, 1962.
They moved to Anson in 2000 where he was member of the First Baptist Church. Winston was an accountant for 35 years.
Winston was preceded in death by his parents, two sons (Monty Alan Allison and Richard Shane Allison), one brother (James Oscar Allison) and one sister (Sherry Lynn Allison Bainbridge).
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Allison of Anson; one daughter, Melissa Darnell (and husband, Patrick) of Anson; two sons, Eric Allison (and wife, Cambri) of Odessa and Ben Allison (and wife, Tami) of Alvin; two brothers, Larry Allison of Lamesa and Bob Allison of Wimberly; three grandchildren, Kate Cook (and husband, Jon) of Anson, William Darnell (and wife, Victoria) of Azle and Holly Darnell of Anson; and four great-grandchildren.
