Viebman (Viehmann) John (Johann) a German born Tailor, Enlisted as a Private in Company E of the 75th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment on August 8 1862. According to the Union Casualties at Gettysburg book, he was Missing in action, July 1, 1863 at Gettysburg PA. According to official records, he was Captured Nov. 30, 1864, Discharged by Gen. Order, June 13, 1865. Died from accidental drowning on April 25 1896 at 70 years old.
