Anna Gifford, 84, Lexington, widow of William J. Gifford, died Sunday, September 18, 2005 at the Samaritan Hospital. She was a retired cook for Central Baptist Church Day Care, member of Grace Baptist Church and was the daughter of the late Roy and Nancy Prewire Gregory. Survivors include one daughter, Linda McFarland, Lexington; one brother, Leroy (Michele) Gregory, Pawtucket, RI; one sister, Doris (Luther) Evans, Lexington; several nieces and nephews; a special friend, Willie Kinney, Lexington. Graveside service will be at 1pm Wednesday, September 21st at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Terrence Freeman officiating. Visitation will be from 11 am to 12:30 pm Wednesday the 21st at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main Street.
