Mrs. EMANUEL (HIGHBARGER), widow, formerly Miss Sallie Davis, of this city, died at her home in Roanoke of general debility, aged some 60 years. She was well known here an much esteemed.
She leaves the following children: Edward, merchant, Richmond; Walter, Louisville; Mrs. Alice Shields, Mrs. Ella Garland, Mrs. Violet Wolford, all of Roanoke. She is also survived by the following brother and sisters, Mrs. D.C. Martin, E., Franklin St.; Mrs. Jas. B. Warner, this city; and Mr. Jas. B. Davis; Mrs. Laura Stevens, Los Angeles, Mrs. John B. Curtis, Richmond.
Remains arrived there on Tuesday evening and go to the home of Mr. D.C. Martin, E. Franklin St.
