Mary Lou Geffers, age 80, of Bristol, TN, went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 22, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Belfast, New York, a daughter of the late Ernest and Lillian Leet Dalton.
Mary Lou had lived in the Bristol area since 1985 coming from Friendship, New York. She retired from Morrison's Fiberglass and she was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Otto Geffers and a sister, Jean Ramsey.
She is survived by Daughters: Debbie Stuck and husband Don, of Blountville, TN, Marcy Gildner and husband Dale, of Deland, FL Sons: David Geffers and wife Jenny, of Bristol, VA, Mike Geffers and wife Denise, of Tamron, IL. Sisters: Dorothy D'Orazio, of Cheektowaga, NY and Ann Jones, of Angelica, NY. Nine Grandchildren: Bonnie Smith and husband Billy, Greg Sterling and wife Bethany, Matt Kess and wife Jessica, David Geffers and fiancée Amanda Wingate, Amanda Rice and husband Jason, Crystal Gildner, Kyle Geffers and wife Stephanie, Madison Geffers and Lindsey Geffers
Ten Great Grandchildren
A memorial service will be held 7 pm, Monday, November 25, 2013 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Wellmont Hospice House, 280 Steeles Rd., Bristol, TN, 37620.
