Mrs. Marks was born February 17, 1930 in Moore County to the late Clayton and Magdalene Spangler Dunn. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Mrs. Marks was the co-owner of Marks Food Store on Main Street in Raeford before it closed in the mid 1970's. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thad Marks.
Survivors include a son, Wilbur T. Marks, Jr of Raeford; two daughters, Sandra M. Holcomb and her husband Harold, of Raeford and Elaine M. Dore and her husband Edward of NH; a brother, Clayton (Buddy) Dunn and his wife Martha of Clinton; five grandchildren, Kim Holcomb, Heather Fucci and husband Eddie, Christopher Dore, Jennifer Thibeault, and Justin Dore; four great grandchildren, Cody Holcomb, Wesley Wilburn, Casey Thibeault, and Devin Thibeault.
Burial will be in Bethesda Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Aberdeen.
