Dr. Stoner, born in Hagerstown, was the son of the late Dorsey Elvin and Mary Frances Curry Stoner.
Dr. Stoner was a 1960 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. He also was a graduate of Catawaba College, Salisbury, NC., and the University of Maryland Dental School. He was a dentist for over 40 years, most of them spent in private practice in Hagerstown, MD. He was a U.S. Naval Reserve Veteran. Dr. Stoner was a member of Christ's Reformed Church, Hagerstown, he was also a member and past secretary of the Washington County Dental Society and a member of the Cumberland Valley Rose Society.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judith A. "Judy" Warne Stoner; and best friends, Laura and Jimmy Minnick.
