Linda Carol Jackson Farrell was born on January 31, 1954 in Opelika, Alabama to Joe Henry Jackson and Doris Jackson.

“Carol” joined Eagleville Missionary Baptist Church under the ministry of Reverend Albert Smith, at an early age. Carol was educated in the Metropolitan Nashville School System. Seeing the need to complete her formal education, she obtained her GED in New York while living there in 1977.

Carol was employed by the New York Stock Exchange for several years prior to coming back home to Nashville. She worked several jobs before her health failed her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Doris Jackson, Sr., brothers, Earnest and Joe Jackson, Jr.

She will certainly be remembered and missed by her loved ones. Four sons, Darryle Jackson, Trabian Jackson, Courtney Farrell, and Vincent Cortez Ratcliffe; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Doris Jackson Chatman and Tonya Jackson Smith of Phoenix, AZ; three brothers, Dwayne (Sam) Jackson, Sr. of Pittsburg, CA, Anthony Jackson of Phoenix, AZ and Fabian C. Jackson; three dear friends, Anna Niemeyer, Valeria Patterson, and Lynette Bell; seven aunts, four uncles; a devoted cousin, Johnny Mae McDougal; special friends, Pat McAdams and Alicia (Chigger) Knox, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.
