Warsaw - John William Barnette, 80, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at his home. Mr. Barnette was born November 3, 1935 in Duplin County, NC to Paul Barnette and Sarah Creech Barnette.
Mr. Barnette is survived by his loving wife, Louise Barnette of the home; son, Timmy Barnette and wife, Isabelle of Clinton; daughter, Suzette Burke and husband, Wade of Warsaw; four grandchildren, Stephanie Carter, Judy Barnette, Nancy Brown and Johnathan Burke; five great grandchildren, Madison Pogue, Emily Croft, Hope Burke, Chloe Burke and Steven James Carter.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Barnette was preceded in death by brothers, Herman Barnette and Leslie Barnette and sister, Leitha Kennedy.
A graveside service will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in Devotional Gardens.
