Burial followed at Rock Springs Cemetery in Ranburne. Dryden Funeral Home was in charge of the services.
Mr. Creel died December 25. Mr. Creel, a lifelong resident of Cleburne County was a member of the Ranburne Masonic Lodge #652, Dallas Masonic Lodge #228, a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, a member of The Cleburne County Democratic Executive Committee, former officer with The Cleburne County Sheriffs Department and the Heflin Police Department. Travis was a self employed machinist and an avid outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hoyt and Lois Creel.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda (Lipham) Creel; a daughter and son-in-law; a son; and a grandson.
