John Halter, formerly of New Castle, DE, passed away on February 11, 2015 in Houma, LA. John was an avid Nascar fan and had worked for ARCO and the State of Delaware.
He is survived by his sister, Viola Walker of Clayton, DE; brother, Melvin Halter of Newark, DE; daughter Shari (Tony) DiMartino; daughter Loretta (Dan) Tjarks; daughter Vicki (Robby) Harris; son John (Gina) Halter; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Viola Halter and his sister, Elva Hohn.
A private memorial service and burial were held.
