Clyde "Blake" Kelly
Clyde "Blake" Kelly was born March 26, 1954 in Canton, OH. and stepped into eternity November 29, 2006 in Chandler, AZ. Blake accepted Christ at an early age at Valley Chapel Church. During that time he was active in Christ Crusaders Youth Group and Bible Quiz Team. In high school he played football, basketball and was one of the starting members of Black Awareness Society. Upon graduating from Canton South High School in 1972, he attended North Carolina A & T College in Greensboro, NC where he meet his future wife, Ms. Tina Francis. This union of eighteen years was blessed with two sons, Mr. James Blake Kelly and Mr. Jason Bennett Kelly. After leaving Milwaukee where he was employed at the Bradley Center, Clyde relocated to Chandler, AZ with his fiancee, Stephanie Foust. Clyde was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Vivian B. Kelly and sister, Annette Kelly. He leaves to cherish his memory sons, James Kelly and Jason Kelly of Milwaukee, WI; father, John R. Kelly of Canton; sisters, Cynthia and (Paul) Hillard of Pasco, WA and Diane and (Lee) Wolfe of Marietta, GA, Elaine Randle, Debra Kelly both of Canton and Royann and (Rodney) Jackson of Columbus, OH; brother, Curt and (Lynette) Freeman of Arlington, VA; fiancee, Stephanie Foust of Chandler, AZ. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will forever miss Clyde. Funeral Services will be Saturday 12 p.m. at Valley Chapel Brethren of Christ 1045 Trump Ave NE, 44730. Calling hours will be one hour prior to service time. Pastor Charles Burkett eulogizing. Interment at Valley Chapel Cemetery.
