Judith "Judy" Gail Davis Hudson, 67, of Connelly Springs passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Catawba Valley Medical Center, following a period of declining health.
Judy was born July 17, 1949 in Burke County to the late Marion Davis and Gladys Banks Davis. She was a dedicated and loving member of St. Johns Baptist Church. Judy enjoyed gardening and canning.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers; Benny Davis and Stanley Davis.
Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years Benny Hudson of the home; children, Michael Hudson and wife Tracie, Timmy Hudson and wife Becky, and Sharon Morrison; grandchildren, Dillon Hudson, Cameron Hudson, Timmy Hudson, Skylar Hudson, Benny Hudson, Macie Morrison, and Samantha Day and husband Thomas; great-grandchild Simon Shull; brothers, Clifford Davis and Danny Davis; and sisters, Helen Bivens and Gladys Ledford.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at St. Johns Baptist Church with Pastor Tony Dyson officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00-3:00 PM at St. Johns Baptist Church.
Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
