Funeral services for Joel Eugene West, 76, of Livingston, Texas will be held in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post# 8568. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. West was born December 18, 1939 in Brevard, North Carolina to Emerson M. West and Mae (Green) West and passed away September 3, 2016 in The Woodlands, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 11 sisters and 1 brother.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy West; son, Rick West and Donna; daughter, Patty Spurlock and Doug; grandchildren, Steven Brooks and Ashley, Jamie McGraw and Norma, Sandi Walsh and Scott, Jessica Lamb and Boyd, Britian Spurlock and Erin, Gerald Brooks and Brittany, Melissa Smith and David, Shelby Ibarra and Alex; 14 great grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
