Vivian was born September 11, 1919 to Allie and Vern Moorman in Clive, IA.
She worked as a floral arranger for many years and enjoyed gardening, painting and sewing.
Vivian is survived by her two children, Richard (Carolee) and Karen Whiteley; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; and four siblings.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, at McLaren's Chapel in West Des Moines with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Botanical Center in Des Moines.
