BELVIDERE - Wilma H. Hoffman, 96, of Belvidere, passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, in Northwoods Care Center, Belvidere.

Born April 11, 1913, in Union, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Haacher) Kamholz.

Attended Belvidere schools. Married Kenneth (Ted) D. Hoffman on Feb. 6, 1937, in Rockford. Member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Belvidere. She worked as an inspector for Automatic Electric in Genoa until retirement. Former member of AFL and CIO in Genoa.

Survivors include, nieces, Diane Baker of Belvidere, Becky Frost of Harvard, Mary Beth DeFauw of Grayslake, Pat Kamholz of Cleveland, Ed Kamholz of New York City; sister-in-law, May Kamholz of Belvidere; many great-nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents; husband, Kenneth; brothers, Adolph (Chick) Kamholz, Willis Kamholz (twin brother), Edward (Bud) Kamholz; sisters, Amanda Kamholz Nelson and Caroline Kamholz Brockman; nephews, Robert Kamholz, Dennis Brockman; and niece, Shirley (Nelson) Murphy.

Service at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, in Belvidere Funeral Home, with visitation from 1 p.m. to time of service; the Rev. Beth Carson, St. John's United Church of Christ, will officiate.

Interment in Highland Garden of Memories.
