CONNOR – Dana Wilbur Thompson, 59, died unexpectedly Oct. 25, 2004, at Caribou as the result of an automobile accident. He was born in Caswell Aug. 12, 1945, the son of Van and Lavina (True) Thompson. He attended the Limestone schools and was a self-employed potato grower for a number of years. Currently, Dana was co-owner of BT Welding and Fabrication Inc. He married Joyce (Adams) Thompson June 13, 1964. He served as a member of the Agway Member Committee. Dana was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. His family was his whole life, and he was very proud of them. Dana was also a very loyal and trusting friend to many. He was always joking or teasing someone. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Surviving in addition to his wife of more than 40 years, Joyce, of Connor are his daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Bob Blaisdell; and his three beautiful grandchildren, whom he adored, Robby, Ricky, and Jenny Blaisdell, all of Connor; four brothers, Dale (Luther) Thompson and his wife, Winnie, of Caribou, Leigh Thompson and his wife, Gloria, of Woodland, Delmar Thompson of Columbia, Conn., and Gary Thompson of Limestone; two sisters, Charlene Oliver and her husband, Edward Leroy, of Silsbee, Texas, and Barbara Ochs of Drums, Pa.; his mother-in-law, Marilyn Adams of Caribou; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Thompson was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, Edmund, Roger and Curtis; one sister, Gretchen Bourgoine and his father-in-law, Alton Adams. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St. Caribou. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, from the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home, with Pastor Ronald Rosser officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
