WARREN - Rose Mae Armstrong, 71, of Warren, passed away Thursday morning, Jan. 28, 2016, at University Hospital of Cleveland.

She was born July 7, 1944, in New Castle, Ind., a daughter of Matthew Sr. and Hilda "Carma" Mays Armstrong.

She spent her adult life as a homemaker, raising and caring for her family.

Rose enjoyed country music, cooking and fishing.

She is survived by two sons, Don Wagner of Lorain and Homer "Butch" Wagner of Akron; two daughters, Brenda Waggoner; and Marjorie Wilson-Miller, both of Warren; three brothers; Jack (Norma) Armstrong of Warren, Tommy Armstrong of Warren; and Teddy Stilson of Florida; a sister, Linda (Jack) Nicely of Columbus; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Robin Wagner; three brothers, Matthew Jr., Ronald and Phillip Armstrong; and two sisters, Betty Shockey and Wilma Timms.

Funeral services for Rose will be 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 North Park Ave., Warren, with the Rev. Jim Dittmar officiating.

Friends may call 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
