Estelle Pearl Thompson Stamps, 89, of Lowell died March 9, 2006, at Springdale. She was born Jan. 20, 1917, at Wharton Creek to John Vernon and Quail Pearl Roberts Thompson. She was preceded in death by three sons, Leo Dale Stamps, John Vernon Stamps and Fred Allen Stamps, one grandson, Randy Joe Underdown, two great-grandsons, Dakota Levi Roten and David Drew Stamps. She was a former employee of Heinie's Steak House in Springdale. She enjoyed flower gardening and raising cattle.

Survivors include five children, Ireva Maxine Murphy and husband Wayne of Lowell, Jerrel Dean Stamps and wife Marlene of Springdale, Clyde Olen Stamps and wife Ellen of Hindsville, Thelma Lorene Underdown and husband Joe of Springdale, Bobby Cook and wife Tina of Lowell; one brother, Johnny Thompson of Springdale; two sisters, Ruth Griggs of Rogers and Dixie Elsey of Huntsville; 22 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Westside Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale. The Rev. Bradley Easter will officiate.
