Son of Robert Stewart/Stuart of Robinson Township, Berks Co., PA.
Husband of Hannah Lea, they married on Jun 10, 1756 in Wilmington, DE.
Together they had at least 4 children:
John, married Hannah Lea
Elizabeth, married Mr. Pugh
Alexander, married Elizabeth Pike
Jehu, married twice... Sarah Stanley and Sarah G.

A will was written on Sept 23, 1772 in New Castle, DE (incorrectly transcribed on Ancestry as "probated" ...I've posted a photo here of death date of Oct 13, 1772) , mentions wife Margaret and son James... this is for a different John Stewart. .. I am posting this will data here as well for reference.
Quakers were exemplary record keepers, and marriage records and several family books validate this their data.

I am relinking to parents, as fellow contributor Patty Shaw (46621490) confirmed previous information was correct.
