Lillian Frances Abernathy Goode, age 80, of Gastonia, was a daughter to the late Edward Lee and Velma Hoyle Abernathy. She was predeceased by by her husband, James Allen Goode; children, Brian, Jerry, and Michael Goode, and Lisa Moody; siblings, Junior Abernathy, Jane Bradley, Doris Lanier, and Cindy Mellon.
Lillian was retired from Dora Yarn in Cherryville. She was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching the Food Network.
Interment in City Memorial Cemetery.
