OCONOMOWOC- Meta E Groth, 91 of Oconomowoc, died Saturday, 25 March 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7 pm at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc with the Rev Eric Gronberg officiating. Burial will be in Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
Meta was born 25 June 1914 in Lebanon, daughter of John and Linna (Woltman) Christian.
She was a member of Dr Martin Luther Church and was retired from LaBelle Industries, Meta enjoyed flower gardening, dancing, crocheting and playing cards.
Meta is survived by three children; a brother; three sisters; 11 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Gerhardt Gauerke and Elmer Groth; son Howard Gauerke; grandson Daniel Eighmy; brothers, Adolph, Harold, Gerhard, Elroy and Clarence; sisters, Irma Wegner, Ruth Grosenick, Laura Schuett, and Leona Schmitz; and daughter in law Nancy Gauerke.
