Robert Harlan Ard went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, September 2 at 11:00 am. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Earl Ard and Ada Staples Ard and his grandmother, Molly Troxel.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wannetta Martin Ard; two daughters, Stephanie Ettinger (Jim), of Smiths Grove, KY, Heather Paschal (Jon) of Alvaton, KY; three grandchildren, Robbie, Zachary and Willow; three sisters, Jo Vance, Westminster, MD, Jackie (Keith) Drake Mooresville, IN, and Priscella (Jim) Self, Summerville SC; and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday in the Lovers Lane Chapel with burial to follow in the Bowling Green Gardens.
