Kenneth Max Savage a man of wit, wisdom and love passed away on August 2, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on Febuary 11, 1924 in Murray Utah to Peter John and Marta Savage. He was the youngest of nine children. Ken graduated from the University Of Utah with a BS in Education. He married Vondella Hansen om August 4, 1947. They were later divorced. He married Reta Glenn on November 25, 1969. He was a mason, and served in the navy during World War Two on a tanker. He successfully began his own buisness, Savage Scaffold and Equipment, in 1968 and continued to work seven days a week until his death. He is defined by a Fantastic sense of humor, quick wit and the ability to make a friend or stranger laugh. He loved playing golf with his buddies at the Bay View Club, and making Bloody Marys on Saturday Mornings with his best friends. He always enjoyed a glass of 50 year old scotch with one ice cube. He had a soft spot for animals, befriending and nurturing Mojo, a stray one eyed cat. You could find him every morning at 6:30 AM, at the Little America Breakfast Counter charming the waitresses and patrons. He will be missed at the Delta Center where he cheered his beloved Jazz in victory and defeat. He and his wife Reta traveled the world. Together they enjoyed their grandchildren and great grandchildren and were very dedicated to each other. Graveside Services were held on Tuesday August 8, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park At The Mausoleum at 3401 South Highland Drive (2000-East). Friends and Family had a celebration of his life at the Diamond Lils Restaurant on Tuesday August 8, 2006 at 5:00 PM at 1528 West North Temple Street. His wife Reta died on December 3, 2006.
