Mrs. Joyce Marley Carroll, age 84, of Mayfield passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Folsomdale Homemakers, a volunteer at the Food Pantry in Mayfield and a homemaker.
Mrs. Carroll is survived by two daughters, Angelia (John) Slifer of Walkersville, MD and Cathy (Timothy) Fast of West Des Moines, IA; one foster daughter, Pat (Larry) Strausburg of Waynesville, OH; one brother, William Smith of Mayfield, KY; one sister, Jane Bailey of Oakland, TN; five grandchildren, David (Dawn) Slifer, Laura Fast, Adam Fast, Dianne (Mike) Kincaid and Jana (Delmer) Isaacs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E. Carroll; her father, Ollie Marley; her mother, Dorothy Mallard Smith; and her step-father, William R. Smith, Jr.
Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Marley Carroll will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Joe Hansen will officiate. Interment will follow at Trinity Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 5, 2016 at the funeral home.
