Mary Lee Royster (nee Schaffer), of Lorain, passed away at her residence on Wednesday August 31, 2016, at the age of 69. Mary was born December 26, 1946 in Lorain, to Leonard and Clara Schaffer (nee Wilber).

Mary is survived by her husband of 33 years, J. D. Royster; son, Malcom and his wife, Krista Zirkle of Kentucky; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Brenda Schaffer, Shirley Schaffer, Lorelei Schaffer, Kathy Beddingfield, Richard, Charles and Lonnie Schaffer, all of Ohio and Linda Orr Leland Schaffer of Pennsylvania.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Schaffer in 2003 and Clara Schaffer in 2007, and brothers, Leonard Schaffer, Jr. and James Schaffer.

The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 7, with the Reverend Lorri Bandagski, Pastor of Bethel Chapel, Lorain, officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
