Erin Elizabeth Sewell, age 40, went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2016. She fought a life-long courageous and inspirational battle with a neurological condition with kindness, compassion, and determination, that were a light to all who knew her. She worked at Regal Cinemas in the West Town Mall. Her calling was in the nursery at Fountain City United Methodist Church, where she was a faithful member. She gave unconditional love to children there for over 23 years, and most recently, working in the nursery for Celebrate Recovery. Her body is now just as beautiful as her spirit.

Erin joins in Heaven her grandmother, Jeanette Condon; grandparents, George and Katherine Sewell; uncle and aunt, Robert and Janet Condon; and cousin, John Sewell. She is survived and will be deeply missed by her devoted parents, Bill and Carol Sewell; grandfather, R.C. Condon and wife, Evelyn; aunt, Becky Russell and husband, Rick; uncles, Ray Condon and wife, Sandy, George Sewell and wife, Patsy; cousins (and best friends), Rachel Condon Dawson and husband, Brandon, Ben and Josh Condon, Kimberly and Emily Russell, George, III, Joel, and Patrick Sewell, and Josiah and Emma Dawson; and church family.

The family will Receive Friends on Saturday, September 3rd, from 2-3:45 p.m., at Fountain City United Methodist Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 4 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Randy Frye, Rev. Amy Aycock, and Rev. John Gargis officiating. A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, September 4th, at 3 p.m., at Fountain City United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Erin's name to the FCUMC Nursery Fund, 212 Hotel Road, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37918.
