A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Clifford J. “Pee Wee” Trahan, 77, at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley, LA with Rev. Matthew Higginbotham as Celebrant.

Visitation will be held at Duhon Funeral Home-Crowley, LLC Chapel on Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 12:00PM until 9:00 PM with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM and will resume on Monday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the time of service.

Interment will follow the church service and will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley, LA. Mr. Trahan passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at his residence.

“Pee Wee” was best known for his music and song writing abilities. Including songs such as “Lache Pas La Patate” and wrote the championship song for Notre Dame High School and also for Crowley High School.

Mr. Trahan is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ann Trahan of Vicksburg, MS; children, Raye Trahan Drury and husband, Greg Drury of Houma, Louisiana, Randal Jude Trahan of Crowley, Louisiana, Rhonda Trahan Gallet and her husband, John Gallet of Kaplan, Louisiana and Rhett Jarrod Trahan and his wife Angela Kerry Trahan of Pineville, Louisiana; grandchildren, Broc John Trahan, Sr., Trent Joseph Trahan, Kirstin Lanie Trahan, Devin Ann Drury, Jacob Travis Trahan, Meagan Elaine Drury, Brice Steffan Trahan and Gabrielle Paige Gallet, great-grandchild, Broc John Trahan, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Trahan and Elizabeth Breaux Taylor; grandchild, Chassiti Leigh Trahan ; sister, Judy Cormier O’Campo and one nephew, Brian Keith O’Campo.

Pallbearers will be Rhett Trahan, Jake Trahan, Brice Trahan, Dennis McDowell, John Gallet and Greg Drury. Honorary pallbearer will be Thomas Nevels.

Duhon Funeral Home, Crowley, 1529 Crowley-Rayne Hwy., Crowley, Louisiana was in charge of all of the arrangements.
